Live Music with the Growling Hazers
What began as casual jam sessions between Robbie Bronk (guitar, vocals) and Cole Mead (drums, vocals) celebrating the music of The Grateful Dead and The Band quickly grew into something more. Recognizing their musical chemistry, they invited longtime friend Jason Darnell to join on bass, whose unique style and influences rounded out their sound and pushed the group’s musical boundaries.
Over the years, The Growling Hazers have built a dynamic repertoire, adding classics from Steely Dan, Thin Lizzy, R.E.M., Marshall Tucker Band, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Stone Temple Pilots, Van Morrison, The Allman Brothers, and more. For over four years, they’ve performed across New York’s Capital Region, bringing fresh energy to every show with rich vocal harmonies and improvised solos that make each performance unique.
From their very first rehearsal to every stage they step on today, The Growling Hazers remain true to their mission: to share their love of timeless music and the joy of playing it live.
🌟 Location: When the weather is fine, enjoy the music outdoors on our scenic Nature’s Edge Terrace. On cooler nights, we move the festivities indoors to our cozy taproom.
