Formed in the spring of 2020 by a group of Saratoga Springs High School graduates, Melon has grown from a hometown pandemic lifeline into a premier local phenomenon. While they bring an infectious, high-energy stage show and incredible crowd interaction, Melon is far more than a standard cover band. Their sprawling, genre-defying repertoire effortlessly transitions across musical eras, seamlessly weaving together upbeat classic rock energy, tight reggae beats, funk rhythms, and psychedelic grooves. A typical setlist covers everything from the classic jams of the Grateful Dead and Bob Marley to the heavy-hitting tracks of Sublime and Stevie Wonder. Known for their signature “Melon Mash” energy, they deliver an upbeat, captivating atmosphere for music fans of all ages.

When the weather is nice, live music takes place outdoors on our Nature’s Edge Terrace, featuring our Forest Stage—set against a backdrop of trees for a relaxed, open-air experience you won’t find downtown. On cooler nights or during inclement weather, performances move inside our taproom, so the music always goes on.

Reservations are available for both indoor and outdoor seating. If you have a preferred spot, we recommend booking ahead—live music nights tend to fill up.
